Project: Single point mooring
The study carried out was aimed to define the main characteristics, operational and environmental conditions to be taken into account in the design of a new single point mooring for oil discharge offshore Genoa harbour.
The possible position of the new plant has been also evaluated taking into account the multiple interactions between the shore terminal, the contiguous Fincantieri shipyard and the residential area which are located very close to the shore discharging area.
A risk analysis related with the intended operations has been also carried out.

Project: Port Fouad – Exploration of new area
The scope of work was to develop a proposal to Suez Canal Authorities for the identification and safety measures to be adopted to mark off the offshore Port Fouad field, located in the Suez Canal approach area where drilling rigs or jack-up would be intended to be located for the development of a gas-field.
