Interprogetti was involved in the analysis of stability related with transportation of RGI floating modules from Kuryk shipyard to Complex D in the Caspian Sea. The modules stability has been improved by fitting two temporary side sponsons to each module in order to get compliance with minimum safety criteria especially agreed with the relevant Authorities for this project.
Client: SEREPT Project: Ashtart field revamping project
The study was aimed at assessing the maximum environmental conditions for which a fleet of supply vessels can be safely moored to the six mooring points composed of gravity anchors and chains connected to buoys.
LOAD-OUT CALCULATIONS & DESIGN OF GRILLAGE AND SEA-FASTENING
Client: National oilwell varco Project: Transportation of A 1300 t crane pedestal and 450 t crane boom
Engineering for the load-out and transportation of a 1300 t crane pedestal and 450 t boom by barge. The grillage and sea-fastening were designed to avoid any welded connection to the crane structures.
Alnilam is a livestock carrier suitable to carry sheep and cattle. The vessel is provided with partly submerged propellers capable of reducing fuel consumptions with respect to conventional propellers.
Ocean Swagman and Ocean Outback are two technologically advanced livestock carriers. These vessels are capable to transport 6000 cattle or 25000 sheep with focus to enhance welfare and safety of livestock, vessel and crew.
F/C Princesse Abby is designed for offshore transhipping operations in Indonesian waters within 20 miles from shore. The unit is capable of loading or discharging bulk cargo (iron ore, coal and other dry bulk materials) from vessels up to the largest Cape-size.
Work carried out:
♦ Hull form design structural design
♦ Coordination with makers and arrangement of lifting cranes
♦ Hydrostatics calculations
♦ Full basic design

DESIGN OF CONVERSION FROM ORE CARRIER INTO TRANSHIPPER
The M/V Ore Fabrica was a single screw ore carrier converted into the world’s largest iron ore transhipper capable of discharging dry bulk cargoes (particularly iron ore) from vessels over 400.000 DWT. The systems were designed for carrying out offshore crane operations with significant wave height values over 2m and wind speed over 30 knots.
